The company is based out of Yorkshire and is run by Ken Morrison - the son of the founder. It has more than 81 stores across the country and is primarily focused on northern England. It has been facing increased competition from discounters Aldi, Lidl and others. To counter this it has launched a reduced-priced range and opened convenience stores.
