Neil Saunders of GlobalData was less impressed. He said that while the store was creative, it lacked a sense of an understanding of the market and was "too complex." Saunders stated that, although he believed Amazon was still committed to brick and mortar retail, the decision to shut down its 4 Star stores and bookstores last year demonstrates that it is focusing on the most important issues for customers.
